De Drobo is een heel aardige oplossing als je een paar harddisken rond hebt slingeren. TUAW schrijft er een aardig artikeltje over. Alle ruimte wordt gebruikt en alle data staat redundant opgeslagen.

Iedereen heeft wel een digitale camera waar SD-kaartjes in passen. Het is makkelijk om de foto’s van je camera op je computer te zetten. Maar toch moet de camera weer open, moet je er weer mee bezig zijn…

Het schijnt niet te mogen en delen met de buurman is natuurlijk écht niet de bedoeling, maar het kan wel: met één smartcard meerdere decoders delen. Recent plaatste ik een artikeltje over JoikuSpot, een programma waarmee je je Nokia Symbian-telefoon omtovert tot een mobiele Hotspot.
Mocht je trek hebben in een “echte” oplossing dan is er bijvoorbeeld de Option Globesurfer III. Hiermee maak je écht een mobiele hotspot! Hij is te krijgen via bijvoorbeeld de UMPCshop.nl, onderdeel van CoolBlue.
